Welcome to AVSI Connect. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AVSI Connect website, mobile application, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. About AVSI Connect
AVSI Connect is a job marketplace that allows:
- Candidates to create profiles, search jobs, and apply for opportunities
- Employers to create company profiles, post jobs, and manage applications
AVSI Connect is a platform provider. We are not the employer for jobs posted by third parties unless expressly stated.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are inactive, or pose a risk to the Service or other users.
3. Candidate Responsibilities
- Provide truthful profile, CV, and application information.
- Use the Service only for legitimate job-seeking purposes.
- Do not misuse Employer contact details obtained through the platform.
4. Employer Responsibilities
- Post only genuine job opportunities and accurate company information.
- Comply with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and data protection laws when handling Candidate data.
- Use Candidate information solely for recruitment related to jobs on AVSI Connect.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you upload (such as CVs, logos, and job descriptions). By uploading content, you grant AVSI Connect a non-exclusive license to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Service. The AVSI Connect name, branding, and platform software remain our property or that of our licensors.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Some Employer features (for example subscriptions or featured listings) may require payment. Fees, billing cycles, and refund rules are shown at the point of purchase or in your plan details. Third-party payment processors handle card payments under their own terms.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful content
- Harass, spam, scrape, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service
- Interfere with platform security or other users' accounts
- Use the Service to distribute malware or collect personal data unlawfully
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that any Candidate will obtain employment or that any Employer will fill a vacancy. We do not control third-party Employers, Candidates, or external websites linked from the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AVSI Connect and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or opportunities arising from your use of the Service.
10. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy available on AVSI Connect. By using the Service, you also acknowledge that Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
